The objective of this information session, requested by the SBSTA Chair in his reflections note, is to provide country Parties, both developed and developing Parties, the opportunity to share information on the use of reporting tables for quantitative information and the use of reporting tools, such as the Common Reporting Format reporter.

Presentations will be made by invited Parties and the secretariat. It is expected that Parties will highlight the challenges and successes in preparing their inventories, including with the use of the 2006 IPCC Guidelines, using reporting tables and software, and establishment of institutional arrangements to support these activities.  This information will be particularly important for SBSTA agenda item 11(a).
