IUCN, together with Members and partners coined the term Ecosystem based Adaptation (EbA) in 2008 at UNFCCC COP14, after which the CBD led the approval process for EbA’s official definition in 2009. Join IUCN, BMUB-IKI and Friends of EbA to celebrate the journey.
