The first meeting of the Durban Forum on Capacity-building was held during the thirty-sixth session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation on 22 and 23 May 2012. More than 200 participants representing Parties, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, youth groups, the private sector, and academia attended the meeting to share experiences gained and challenges faced in building the capacity of developing countries to respond to climate change.
