In a communication to the secretariat dated 5 June 2011, Bolivia (Plurinational State of) requested that an item be included on the provisional agenda of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) at its thirty-fourth session. In accordance with rule 12 of the draft rules of procedure being applied, and in agreement with the Chair, this item is included in this supplementary provisional agenda below as item 16(b)
