In communications to the secretariat dated 20, 23 and 24 May 2011, Algeria, Papua New Guinea and Saudi Arabia requested that items be included on the provisional agenda of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice SBSTA) at its thirty-fourth session. In accordance with rule 12 of the draft rules of procedure being applied, and in agreement with the Chair, these items are included in this supplementary provisional agenda below as items 10(d), 15 and 16(a)
