Views on the areas of focus set out in section IV of the terms of reference for the review and assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of Article 4, paragraphs 1(c) and 5, of the Convention agreed at the twenty-ninth session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation Submissions from Parties and relevant organizations.
The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), at its thirtieth session, invited Parties and relevant organizations, particularly those that had not done so, to submit to the secretariat, by 15 February 2010, their views on the areas of focus set out in section IV of the terms of reference for the review and assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of Article 4, paragraphs 1(c) and 5, of the Convention. The SBI requested the secretariat to compile these submissions into a miscellaneous document for consideration by the SBI at its thirty-second session. The secretariat received one such submission on 22 February 2010. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, this submission is contained in this document and reproduced in the language in which it was received and without formal editing
