This document presents the results of assessments by the Expert Group on Technology Transfer (EGTT) of progress in the implementation of the framework for meaningful and effective actions to enhance the implementation of Article 4, paragraph 5, of the Convention and of identification of gaps and barriers to technology transfer. It also recommends actions for enhancing the implementation of this framework, as requested by decision 6/CP.10. The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice may wish to consider the information contained in this document, in particular the recommendations for enhancing the above-mentioned framework presented in the annex, with the aim to recommending a draft decision on this matter for adoption by the Conference of the Parties at its twelfth session.
