The Subsidiary Body for Implementation, at its twentieth session, invited Parties, in particular Parties with economies in transition, to submit, to the secretariat, by 15 August 2004, additional information on the effectiveness of capacity-building activities in countries with economies in transition, being guided by paragraph 5 of decision 9/CP.9 (FCCC/SBI/2004/10, para. 60 (c)). The secretariat has received five such submissions.
