The tenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) will be held from 6 to 17 December 2004. This note contains a list of possible elements of the provisional agenda, suggestions concerning the organization of work for the COP and subsidiary bodies, and options for the organization of a highlevel segment. Parties may wish to provide the secretariat with further guidance on these matters. This note also proposes dates for the two sessional periods in 2009, which Parties may wish to
consider and recommend to the COP at its tenth session. It also highlights issues relating to the organization of future sessional periods, and time management concerns
