Meetings of the COP 19/CMP 9 President and the President-Designate of COP 20/CMP 10 on 11 March 2014
The President of COP 19/CMP 9, Mr. Marcin Korolec and the incoming COP 20/CMP 10 President-Designate, Mr. Manuel Pulgar-Vidal met during the March sessions with the Executive Secretary, Ms. Christiana Figueres to discuss the Warsaw outcomes and the road to Lima.
COP 19/CMP 9 President, Mr. Korolec also convened a meeting of the Bureau, where he reaffirmed that the outcomes from Warsaw had strengthened climate action and set a pathway towards 2015. Read statement here

The COP 19/CMP 9 President met with negotiating groups to hear views and encourage Parties to continue along the pathway set at the Warsaw Conference. The COP 19/CMP 9 President will work in close collaboration with the incoming President-Designate of COP 20/CMP 10 to ensure seamless progress is made in the lead up to COP 20/CMP 10 in Peru.
