The Multi-stakeholder forums subgroup supports work on enhancing engagement and activities in NAPs related to gender, youth, the private sector, national and subnational authorities, and local communities and Indigenous Peoples.
Scope of Work
- Advance engagement of local communities and Indigenous Peoples, private sector and youth in the process to formulate and implement NAPs;
- Consideration of traditional and indigenous practices regarding adaptation and promoting and facilitating such practices through engaging local communities, Indigenous Peoples and women;
- Advising on gender considerations in the products and activities of the LEG;
- Identifying and sharing experience, good practices and lessons learned among different stakeholders.
