Background
Decision 12/CMA.1, paragraph 10, decides to convene biennial high-level ministerial dialogues on climate finance (HLMD) beginning in 2021 in the context of identification of indicative quantitative and qualitative information related to Article 9, paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Paris Agreement, as applicable, including as available, projected levels of public financial resources to be provided by Parties in accordance with Article 9, paragraph 5, of the Paris Agreement.
The COP 30 Presidency will convene the third HLMD on climate finance under the CMA on identification of the information to be provided by Parties in accordance with Article 9, paragraph 5 of the Paris Agreement in conjunction with COP 30/CMA 7.
