The fourth dialogue will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at the Addis International Convention Center / AICC on:
- 1 September 2025, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- 2 September 2025, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The fourth dialogue is being organized pursuant to decision 3/CMA.5 paragraph 5, by which the CMA decided that at least two dialogues shall be held each year as part of the United Arab Emirates just transition work programme. The fourth dialogue will focus on "Just energy transition pathways and holistic approaches to just transitions including socioeconomic, workforce, social protection and other dimensions, based on nationally defined development priorities". The message from the Chairs of the subsidiary bodies to Parties and observer organisations on the topic for the fourth dialogue can be accessed here.
Parties, observers and other non-Party stakeholders are kindly reminded to submit views on opportunities, best practices, actionable solutions, challenges and barriers relevant to the topic of the fourth dialogue as early as possible, and no later than four weeks before the fourth dialogue (by 4 August 2025), in accordance with paragraph 8 of decision 3/CMA.5.
