The Global DNA Forum aims to support the implementation of the Article 6.4 mechanism under the Paris Agreement. By bringing together designated national authorities (DNAs) from the Article 6.4 mechanism and the Clean Development Mechanism, the Fourm will promote dialogue and knowledge exchange . Key objectives include enhancing the instititutional capacities and knowledge of DNAs, promoting peer-to-peer learning, exchange of of best practices, and drwing relevant lessons from the CDM to inform the Article 6.4 mechanism.

As part of the Forum, Regional Dialogues on Carbon Pricing (REDiCAP) for Latin America will be held to enhance the understanding of policymakers regarding carbon pricing instruments as tools for achieving their NDCs.

The event is open through nominations by National Focal Points for Parties.
