Background
The Methodological Expert Panel (MEP), at its first meeting, agreed to open a call for inputs on the revision of the following documents (refer to A6.4-MEP001, para. 24):
- ACM0002: Grid-connected electricity generation from renewable sources (version 21.0) and
- TOOL07: Tool to calculate the emission factor for an electricity system (version 07.0)
Submission Details
Stakeholders are requested to provide input on (a) estimation of project emissions from hydro reservoirs, (b) leakage, (c) identification of baseline scenario, and (d) calculation method for emission factor of electricity system, in A6.4 mechanism context.
Please submit your input by 17 May 2024, 23:59 CEST (extended to 31 May 2024, 23:59 CEST) to the MEP support team via email at A6.4mechanism-meth@unfccc.int using the follow form:
