This report provides an overview of the secretariat’s delivery highlights in 2025 and its financial performance, as well as of progress in supporting Parties under the Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement in advancing climate action. It covers the secretariat’s work across its thematic mandates, including nationally determined contributions, the outcomes of the first global stocktake, implementation of the enhanced transparency framework under the Paris Agreement, operationalization of Article 6 of the Agreement and the areas of climate finance, technology, adaptation, and loss and damage.
