This document contains the report of the activities of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (CGE) relating to the implementation of its activities during the period April to September 2005. It also contains reports on the CGE hands-on training workshop on vulnerability and adaptation assessments for the Africa region held in Maputo, Mozambique, from 18 to 22 April 2005 and the global hands-on training workshop on mitigation assessments held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 26 to 30 September 2005. The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) may wish to provide additional guidance on the overall work of the CGE for 2006–2007 and on the conduct of the remaining regional hands-on training workshops
