This report covers the work of the Adaptation Committee between October 2017 and October 2018. It contains organizational and procedural information, including information on meetings held during the reporting period and changes in membership and co-chairing arrangements. The report highlights the Adaptation Committee’s progress in implementing its flexible workplan for 2016–2018 in the areas of promoting overarching coherence; the technical examination process on adaptation; providing technical support and guidance to Parties on adaptation action and means of implementation; and awareness-raising, outreach and information-sharing. The report also contains the Adaptation Committee’s flexible workplan for 2019–2021. It concludes with recommendations for consideration by the Conference of the Parties.
