At COP 29, Parties agreed (Decision 7/CP.29) to extend the enhanced Lima Work Programme on Gender for a further ten years.
They also decided that the development of a new Gender Action Plan would commence at the sixty-second session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation in June 2025, with the aim of recommending a draft decision for consideration and adoption at COP 30 in November 2025.
The secretariat organised an in-person networking event for National Gender and Climate Change Focal Points (NGCCFP) and a Q&A walk-in session on Gender and Climate Finance.
