There are 2 search functions: Augmented Search and Literal Search
🔍 What is an Augmented Search?
Augmented search is when the system tries to interpret and go beyond the exact words you type.
For example, if you type: “What has the MEP said about ldcs and sustanable devlopment goels?”.
The system will automatically correct the spelling, expand acronyms like MEP and LDCs, and return accurate matches for sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Best for: Exploring topics and when you're not sure of the exact wording used in documents.
🔎 What is a Literal Search?
The literal search looks for the exact words you type, just as you typed them.
For example, if you search for “carbon reduction,” it will only return results with that specific phrase (no variations nor synonyms).
Best for: Finding specific terms, phrases, or when you know exactly what you’re looking for.
Use the Filters on the far right to help narrow your search results.
- Highlighted Green text means the option is active and has been selected.
- Greyed out text means the option is unavailable for your current search.
