Background
The co-chairs of the Sharm el-Sheikh mitigation ambition and implementation work programme warmly invite Parties and observer States to the Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, to submit, on a voluntary basis and should they wish to do so, posters for the inclusion in the poster session being organized alongside the eighth global dialogue and investment-focused event under the work programme, which is taking place from 28 to 30 September 2026 in Sydney, Australia, in a hybrid format.
The co-chairs envisage the poster session as a space to feature concrete initiatives, national or regional experiences, case studies, practical examples or innovative solutions relevant to one or more of the topics of the eighth global dialogue and investment-focused event.
Interested Parties may submit their posters by Monday, 21 September 2026 at 23:45 CEST. Please refer to the “How to submit” section below for guidance on making submissions.
Objective
The poster session aims to contribute to enhancing the interactivity and depth of the global dialogue and investment-focused event by providing participants with an opportunity to explore and engage with specific initiatives, case studies, and national experiences submitted to the poster session that are relevant to the themes of the dialogue and the event.
The session can also complement expert sessions by offering the opportunity for focused exchanges between poster presenters and participants.
To further enrich the exchange of experiences and practical examples, the secretariat, at the request of the co-chairs, will also reach out to previous contributors to the global dialogue and investment-focused event to invite them to submit posters via their NFP, should they wish to do so.
Poster display and publication
Posters included in the poster session will be printed and displayed at the venue by the secretariat.
Please be advised that, owing to space limitations at the venue, only a limited number of posters can be displayed in printed format. Additional posters meeting the requirements for participation in the poster session will be made available through the poster session webpage.
All posters included in the poster session will be published on this webpage after the conclusion of the eighth global dialogue and investment-focused event
