Solar will be the cheapest form of electricity in many regions of the world in the next 10 years, a new report states. The Current and Future Cost of Photovoltaics by the institute Fraunhofer ISE on behalf of Agora Energiewende forecasts how falling prices of solar photovoltaics will affect the future of the low carbon energy, because there’s no end to the cost decline in photovoltaics.
