Transition to talk about children`s rights mainstreaming at the UNFCCC as a cross cutting topic:

This session aims to highlight the importance of children`s agenda mainstreaming across agenda items. Ideally it will be delivered by the children and youth.

  • Opening and setting the scene by a child
  • Child Rights expert(s) addressing why children mainstreaming is important (Célia Alldridge TDH Brazil) + one person from CERI (tbc)
  • Showcase of demands by YOUNGO and Child Rights Organisations (Alana, TdH, CRIN) (tbc)
  • Remarks on how to progress on the children`s agenda followed by the Expert Dialogue on children (tbc)

Open Intergenerational dialogue between policy makers and youth representatives from YOUNGO, young farmers, Indigenous Youth and a child representative

  • Questions and the summary of the thematic sessions.
  • Discussion moderated by a young person (also refer to the YCF synthesis)

There will be three children and youth to ask respective questions to each high level panellist.
