Objectives

  • Discuss the access and use of climate information to support adaptation in farming and indigenous communities, and the challenges and opportunities associated with it, through a dialogue with researchers, climate experts and development practitioners.
  • Introduce the concept of Academies of Climate Services to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and capacity building between scientists, practitioners and policy makers in the Global South.
