The sixth dialogue will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan:

  • 10 Sep 2026, 14:00 – 18:00
  • 11 Sep 2026, 8:30 – 18:00

The sixth dialogue is being organized pursuant to decision 3/CMA.5 paragraph 5, by which the CMA decided that at least two dialogues shall be held each year as part of the United Arab Emirates just transition work programme. The sixth dialogue will focus on Holistic approaches to nationally determined just transition pathways for the industry sector: technology, innovation and equitable value chains.
 
Parties, observers and other non-Party stakeholders are kindly reminded to submit views on opportunities, best practices, actionable solutions, challenges and barriers relevant to the topic of the sixth dialogue as early as possible, and no later than four weeks before the sixth dialogue, in accordance with paragraph 8 of decision 3/CMA.5 through the submission portal.
