Description:

The loss and damage bodies comprise the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism (WIM ExCom), Santiago Network and the Fund for responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD), working to accelerate action and support in developing countries for people on the frontlines of the adverse effects of climate change.

This joint event will update Parties and observers on recent progress under these bodies and their respective mandates on complementarity and coherence and provide a platform for exchange among stakeholders on the available support.

The event will feature insights from the Co-Chairs of the WIM ExCom and the Advisory Board of the Santiago Network, and from FRLD Board Co-Chair, with space for interventions by countries and other stakeholders from the floor during the Q&A session.
