Objective 

To explore how international frameworks that promote community engagement and empowerment can drive ambitious climate policy and action by strengthening trust, agency, and capacity of people and communities to turn their concerns, ideas, and aspirations for transformational change into meaningful climate action.  Through an interactive format, the session will highlight practical examples and invite participants to explore ways to connect community and sub-national action to national pathways towards just transitions.
