As the global community convenes at COP30, the spotlight is on actionable strategies to implement nationally determined contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement. Organized by the UNFCCC secretariat and UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre, this event aims to showcase the real-world impact of technology needs assessments (TNAs) in developing countries. It will highlight how TNAs are being integrated into third-generation NDCs, support technology transfer and stakeholder engagement, and align policies to advance climate goals. The event will also explore how they can be utilized to help unlock climate finance and accelerate low-carbon, climate-resilient development.
