UN Climate Change through its RCC West and Central Africa co-organises a conference dedicated to climate action in Central African countries with the Development Bank of the Central African States (BDEAC) and the Institut de la Francophonie pour le développement durable (IFDD), and Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), from 23 to 25 January 2024 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

This event provides the opportunity for relevant stakeholders to learn about cooperative approaches under the Paris Agreement, share experiences, and promote the creation of the Central African Alliance for Climate Finance and Carbon Markets.

The main objectives of this conference are to strengthen climate action and develop an alliance for carbon markets and climate finance in Central Africa.

L'ONU Climat co-organise une conférence dédiée à l'action climatique dans les pays d'Afrique Centrale par le biais de son Centre Régional de Collaboration de Afrique de l'Ouest et Centrale avec la Banque de Développement des États de l'Afrique Centrale (BDEAC), l'Institut de la Francophonie pour le Développement Durable (IFDD) et l'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), du 23 au 25 janvier 2024 à Yaoundé, Cameroun.

Cet événement permet aux parties prenantes concernées de s'informer sur les approches coopératives dans le cadre de l'Accord de Paris, de partager leurs expériences et de promouvoir la création de l'Alliance centrafricaine pour la finance climatique et les marchés du carbone.

Les principaux objectifs de cette conférence sont de renforcer l'action climatique et de développer plus avant l'alliance pour les marchés carbone et la finance climat en Afrique centrale.
