Background

The Collaborative Instruments for Ambitious Climate Action (Ci-ACA) initiative, supported by the government of Germany, has played a crucial role in promoting carbon pricing and carbon markets in developing countries since 2016.

Objectives

In this event, various Parties, with support from six UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Centres (RCCs) through the Ci-ACA initiative, will share their experiences and lessons learned in exploring and implementing carbon pricing instruments to achieve their climate commitments.
