The Audiovisual Archives of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat contains broadcast quality audio and video recordings of the meetings of the Conference of the Parties (COP) of UNFCCC, its Subsidiary Bodies (SB) and the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee on Climate Change (INC) dating back to 1990.
The Audiovisual Archives includes a significant collection of the meetings proceedings of the Conferences of Parties, its Supreme Bodies, Subsidiary Bodies and Constituted Bodies and the Ad Hoc Working Groups. It contains also the press conferences (at the COP and SB sessions) of COP Presidents, UN Secretary Generals, Parties, IGOs, NGOs, UNFCCC Secretariat and the special events relating to climate change issues. It holds over 10,000 hours of audio recordings and over 3,000 hours of video recordings, of which, born-digital since 2013 and digitized from analogue recordings before.

Requests for copies of audiovisual materials held by the UNFCCC Audiovisual Archives are handled by the Records and Archives Management Team. Requests require the completion of the “Audiovisual Materials Request Form” and submission via email to the Records and Archives Management Team prior to receiving audiovisual materials.
