The COP decided to continue consultations at COP 25. 

Consultations were undertaken by Majid Shafiepour (Islamic Republic of Iran), Vice President of the COP.  Status of nominations can be round on the Election and Membership website of UNFCCC. Groups and constituencies are encouraged to submit outstanding nominations to the Executive Secretary by 28 February 2019.

Mr. Paul Watkinson (France), Chair of the SBSTA, presented the outcomes of the work of the SBSTA at its 48th and 49th sessions to the COP.

Mr. Emmanuel Dlamini (Eswatini), Chair of the SBI, presented the outcomes of the work of the SBI at its 48th and 49th sessions to the COP.

Ms. Sarah Baashan (Saudi Arabia) and Ms. Jo Tyndall (New Zealand) presented the outcomes of the work of the APA at its 1st session to the COP. In doing so, the APA concluded its mandate.
