The secretariat engages in collaborative activities, initiatives and programmes with United Nations entities, convention secretariats and intergovernmental organizations that enhance and contribute to the work under the Convention and its Kyoto Protocol. The key objective of the secretariat in such engagement is to support the implementation of the
Convention and its Kyoto Protocol and to support the UNFCCC process and Parties to the Convention in an efficient and effective manner.
