The Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, at its eighth session, invited Parties and admitted observer organizations to submit to the secretariat, by 25 March 2013, their views on possible changes to the modalities and procedures for the clean development mechanism. The secretariat has received 14 such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, the six submissions from Parties and the one submission from an intergovernmental organization are attached and reproduced in the languages in which they were received and without formal editing. In line with established practice, the seven submissions from non-governmental organizations have been posted on the UNFCCC website
