The Conference of the Parties (COP), at its eighteenth session, decided1 to establish a work programme under the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice to continue the process of clarifying the quantified economy-wide emission reduction targets of developed country Parties. In addition, the COP requested all Parties to submit their views on the work programme referred to in paragraph 1 above and developed country Parties to submit any additional information for the clarification of their targets and associated assumptions and conditions as outlined in decision 2/CP.17, paragraph 5, by 25 March 2013, for compilation by the secretariat into a miscellaneous document. The secretariat has received five such submissions from Parties. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing
