The webinar aimed to update delegates and stakeholders on the “Sharm el-Sheikh joint work on implementation of climate action on agriculture and food security” (SJWA), ahead of the sixty-fifth sessions of the subsidiary bodies (SB 65), to be held in November 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye, as part of COP31. The webinar focused in particular on the report on the in-session workshop on progress, challenges and opportunities related to identifying needs and accessing means of implementation for climate action in agriculture and food security, including sharing of best practices, and provided an overview of the mandates to be considered by the subsidiary bodies at SB 65 under this agenda item.
