The draft memorandum of understanding regarding the hosting of the Climate Technology Centre was prepared by the secretariat, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme, on the basis of the elements of a memorandum of understanding recommended by the Subsidiary Body for Implementation at its sixty-fourth session. The Subsidiary Body for Implementation will consider the draft memorandum of understanding at its sixty-fifth session with a view to recommending draft decisions thereon for consideration and adoption by the Conference of the Parties at its thirty-first session and the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement at its eighth session.
