5. Matters relating to the clean development mechanism
Abstract
This report describes the work undertaken by the Executive Board of the clean development mechanism and the secretariat in the reporting period from 21 August 2025 to 16 September 2026, including in response to mandates relating to the discontinuation of operations, processes and institutions under the clean development mechanism as set out in decision 4/CMP.20, and sets out possible remaining actions necessary for the closure of its operations. It also provides an overview of the status of the clean development mechanism during its twenty-fifth year of operation.
