Between 1990 and 2024, total aggregate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions without emissions and removals from land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF) for Parties included in Annex I to the Convention (Annex I Parties) decreased by 31.0 per cent, while total GHG emissions and removals with LULUCF decreased by 38.9 per cent. For Annex I Parties with economies in transition, GHG emissions without and with LULUCF decreased by 45.1 and 60.5 per cent respectively. For Annex I Parties that do not have economies in transition, GHG emissions without and with LULUCF decreased by 19.3 and 23.6 per cent respectively.
