The Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, at its sixth session, invited Parties, intergovernmental organizations and admitted observer organizations to submit to the secretariat, by 28 March 2011, their views on procedures, mechanisms and institutional arrangements under the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties under the Kyoto Protocol to allow for appeals against Executive Board decisions based on decision 2/CMP.5, paragraph 42, taking into account the recommendations of the Executive Board contained in annex II to its annual report. The secretariat has received eight such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, the four submissions from Parties and one from a United Nations organization are attached and reproduced in the languages in which they were received and without formal editing. In line with established practice, the three submissions from non-governmental organizations have been posted on the UNFCCC website
