From Commitments to Clarity: Tracking Progress Toward Fashion’s Climate Commitments
Drawing from Fashion Charter signatories’ 2024 CDP disclosures and the climate transition plans submitted to the Charter, this report highlights both progress and gaps in meeting the Charter commitments. It aims to strengthen accountability, showcase leadership, and support learning and improvement across the industry.
The report finds that climate action among signatories is advancing, although not yet at the pace required to meet 2030 targets. It recommends greater sharing of good practice across the value chain through deeper collaboration, co-designed solutions, and collective efforts to unlock the resources needed for implementation.
It also highlights the need for collaboration within and beyond supply chains to create the enabling conditions required for faster, sector wide progress.
