This report provides a summary of the hybrid workshop for Parties and technical experts held from 8 to 9 October 2024 under the United Arab Emirates–Belém work programme on indicators for measuring progress achieved towards the targets referred to in paragraphs 9–10 of decision 2/CMA.5, which included presentations by experts involved in the technical work under the work programme and discussions on key topics such as cross-target synergies, technical considerations for refining the mapping of indicators, and identified gaps in and areas not covered by existing indicators.
