The Conference of the Parties, at its twenty-second session, requested  the Global Environment Facility (GEF), as an operating entity of the Financial Mechanism of the Convention, to continue providing in its annual reports, inter alia, information on the establishment and operation of the Capacity-building Initiative for Transparency, including its programming and implementation modalities, on the voluntary contributions pledged and provided, and on the implementation of decision 9/CP.18.
