This report briefly describes the objectives, activities and outcomes of the Asian regional workshop. Section II of the report describes the objectives and activities of the workshop and section III summarizes the main issues and problems encountered by Asian countries in the preparation of their initial national communications. Section IV outlines recommendations and follow-up action needed to address the specific problems and concerns of non-Annex I Parties as
they relate to the preparation of their national communications. The list of supporting material, the agenda of the workshop and the list of participants are attached as annexes I, II and III respectively
