This is a synthesis of views expressed by Parties and an observer organization in their submissions to the secretariat on the work of the improved forum on the impact of the implementation of response measures. The synthesis includes the specific proposals made by Parties for consideration in the development of the future work programme of the improved forum. The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation may wish to use this synthesis report as background material for concluding the review of the improved forum’s work and for taking forward the work on the impacts of the implementation of response measures.
