This type of notification generally – but not exclusively – refers to sessions of the Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, intersessional meetings and workshops. They also include communications sent on behalf of COP Presidents, Chairs of the subsidiary bodies and Climate Champions.

Sign up to receive push notifications that appear on your web browser or on the notifications screen on your smartphone or tablet. These notifications point to key news and event information as well as conveying important alerts and logistical information during the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Change Conference.

Email notification:
Sign up to be notified by email when in-session documents relating to agenda items and topics of interest are published.

Note that the sign-up for email notifications is separate from the push notification process described below.

Push notification:
Registered participants can sign up to receive push notifications from the COP 28 platform and the COP 28 mobile app when an in-session document prepared for an agenda item of interest is published. Go to your profile on the platform or the app to select agenda items for which you want to receive document notifications. Climate action topics are listed there for other purposes; selecting them will not trigger document-related push notifications.

Note that setting preferences for push notifications will not automatically sign you up for the above-mentioned email notifications. To receive email notifications as well (or instead), sign up as instructed above.
