COP 27 notifications and direct messages

The secretariat offers multiple ways to participants to be notified about key aspects of the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Change Conference. This page gives an overview of the features on offer and how participants can subscribe. Please take note of the new service for In-session document email notifications below.

For live postings of news and events please also check out the live blog section of the COP 27 main conference web page.

These official messages are sent by email to designated focal points, and also published on this page. This type of notification generally – but not exclusively – refers to sessions of the Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, intersessional meetings and workshops. They also include communications sent on behalf of COP Presidents, Chairs of the subsidiary bodies and Climate Champions.
