The 13^th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC and the 3^rd session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol took place in Bali and was hosted by the Government of Indonesia. Also sitting were the 27^th sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the resumed 4^th session of the Ad hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP).
