Action Hub Events at COP 26

The COP 26 Presidency has built an amphitheatre directly within the main venue at the UN Climate Change conference held from 31 October until 12 November in Glasgow, UK - COP26.

This area is a dynamic events-space, where non-Party stakeholders can stage a variety of events, such as talk-shows, special launch events, competition winners announcements, games, interactive activities, or digital demonstrations, all of which focus on concrete climate action and provide a voice to the audience.

It is at the core of the Action Hub to hold events that are markedly different from other traditional meetings held at the conference, in both format and content, and provide a central scene that is inclusive, participatory and transparent.

The Action Hub typically hosts well-known representatives of businesses, investors, cities, foundations but also includes civil society, cultural and media figures, celebrities and less traditional personalities of the climate debate to encourage cross-disciplinary input.

All events held at the Action Hub are live streamed on the UNFCCC webcast page, and the videos files of events are later made available on demand, and downloadable.
