The AI for Climate Action Forum 2025 is the inaugural global gathering by the United Nations Climate Change Technology Executive Committee (TEC) on opportunities, challenges and risks of harnessing the power of AI for combating climate change in developing countries.

This virtual session will provide an overview of different aspects of opportunities, challenges and risks of the use of AI for climate change adaptation and mitigation action.

The Forum’s in-person session will focus on the development and deployment of local AI-powered solutions. In-person participation will be by invitation only. Open-access online participation will be provided.

Announcement of the Award Winner 2025
The winner of AI for Climate Action Award 2025 will be announced at the Forum. The Award honors impactful AI applications designed to meet the needs in climate change adaptation and mitigation from Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States.
